Bowers Families, 

I am absolutely thrilled to welcome you to a new school year at Bowers Elementary! This marks my fifth year as part of the Bowers community, and I feel incredibly fortunate to continue serving such a dedicated, inclusive, and inspiring school.

With over 20 years of experience in education, I’ve had the privilege of working as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. Each role has deepened my commitment to supporting students, families, and staff in reaching their full potential.

Originally from Southern California, I moved north to attend college. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from UC Berkeley, followed by a Master of Arts in Education and a single-subject credential in English from Stanford University. For the past 15 years, my husband and I have called the South Bay our home, where we’re raising two daughters—one in middle school and second grade.

As both an educator and a parent, I truly understand the importance of a strong home-school connection. Together, we will ensure that all students have access to a rigorous curriculum, achieve academic success, and feel safe, supported, and valued every day at school.
